Please Read and Sign your Wedding Photography Contract
SERVICE: Daven Casey Photography will take the photographs on the date stated in the contract and complete the work in digital form within eight weeks.
PAYMENT: Client agrees to pay Daven Casey Photography' the full fee no later than 30 days prior to the Wedding day.
BOOKING FEE. Client reserves the date by signing this contract and paying a non-refundable €400 booking fee within 3 days of receiving this Agreement.
CANCELATION: Client reserves the right to cancel this Agreement, but without refund of the booking fee.
STYLE: Daven Casey Photography specialises in a documentary approach to wedding photography, which focuses on capturing the authentic moments, emotions, and details of the event. While Daven Casey Photography will make every effort to capture traditional photographs requested by THE CLIENT, the primary focus will be on unobtrusive, candid photography.
EVENT GUIDE: The responsibility in gathering people/objects for desired photographs is to be designated to a guest/family member by the client. Daven Casey Photography will NOT be held accountable for not photographing desired people if there is no one to assist in identifying or gathering people for the photograph(s).
WEDDING DETAILS. The client agrees to complete a confirmation form 30 days before the wedding to confirm all wedding details to Daven Casey Photography. Notification of any changes in schedule or location must be made in a timely manner and confirmation must be obtained from Daven Casey.
SHOT LISTS: The Author is a non-traditional photographer and does not work from detailed "shot lists". His approach is photojournalistic and creative.
PHOTO REQUESTS. Requested photos such as, screen shot ideas, Pinterest boards, or another photographer’s work, etc.; cannot be guaranteed by Daven Casey Photography.
IMAGE USE: Daven Casey Photography is the creator and has full usage rights of the images. If you do not want me to use your images to show future couples my work I do require written notice (Email)
ARTISTRY: Daven Casey Photography is obliged to provide his services to the best of his abilities, in the manner described above but reserves the right to a complete stylistic and artistic expression.
RESTRICTIONS: Daven Casey Photography will make every effort to deliver all photographs requested by the Client. Daven Casey and the Client both agree that the Photographer/s is not responsible for compromised coverage due to causes beyond the Photographers control, like weather conditions, schedule complications, delays or other principles,, other people's camera or flash, rendering of decorations, restrictions of the venues or officiate, existing backgrounds or lighting conditions which may negatively impact or restrict the photography coverage. The photographer's coverage is limited by the guidelines of the ceremony official or the reception site management. Negotiation with the officials for moderation of the guidelines is the Client's responsibility.
PERMITS: The Client is responsible for acquiring all permits and permission for all locations on which photographs will be taken.
EDITING: Images are edited at Daven Casey Photography's discretion and delivered files will not include all images taken by the Photographer. The photographer reserves the creative right to edit and release only those deemed creditable as professional in quality and within the photographer's artistic standards. The selection of delivered photographs by Daven Casey Photography is final. To retain a documentary approach, the photographers image editing includes colour correction, re-sizing, blemish removal, cropping. Images will be colour corrected and fully edited but will not be heavily retouched. If you wish to have specific editing on any images like heavy correction of makeup, environmental effects, clothing, removal of objects, or any other excessive editing, the photographer will accommodate you and will quote you an hourly editing fee of €50 to accomplish this task.
ILLNESS: In the unlikely event that the assigned Author is unable to perform to the guidelines of this contract due to an injury, illness, act of God, denied entry, theft, or other cause beyond the control of the Author, the Author will make every effort to secure a replacement photographer. If the situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event.
TERMINATION: Daven Casey Photography reserves the right to terminate coverage and leave the location of the wedding if the Photographer experiences inappropriate, threatening, hostile or offensive behaviour from person(s) at the wedding; or in the event that the safety of the photographer is in question.
COPYRIGHT: Daven Casey Photography retains the copyright to the images under Irish law. However, this Agreement allows the Client to use images in unlimited form and number, but for non-commercial purposes.
MEAL: A hot meal is very much appreciated and shall be provided by the Client. It will be consumed while the Client and their guests are dining in a separate location.
IMAGE STORAGE: Upon receipt of the digital media, both physically or online, the Client accepts all responsibility for archiving and protecting the photographs. The photographer is obliged to archive images for 1 year from the date of the delivery of files. The photographer is not responsible for the lifespan of any digital media provided or for any future changes in digital technology or media readers that might result in an inability to read the digital media provided. It is the Client's responsibility to make sure that digital files are copied to new media as required.
PERMISSION: The Client is obliged not to pass the photographs to the other wedding service providers (photographers, caterers, wedding organizers, etc.) without the prior written permission of Daven Casey Photography.
LATE FINISH. If Daven Casey Photography is still Photographing essential activities of the event after 10:30pm there will be an added charge of €100 per hour from 10:31pm
